Student Accomodation issue in Nnamdi Azikiwe University has gotten as huge life line as the University Administration has attracted the building of 5 different hostel blocks which will have not less 500 rooms each and this is coming from 5 different investors.
The flag off of the construction of these hostels were all done on Saturday 5 June 2021, Speaking during the flag off the Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Charles Esimone said that this giant stride is in the University’s bid to solve the incessant accomodation issue the students have which affects their academic performance because no student will do well when he or she is not in a conducive academic environment which does not only include the classroom or lecture hall but as well as where the students lives.
The Vice Chancellor did not say the estimated time of completion but we hope that it wouldn’t take too long a time so that students can start benefiting from this as soon as possible.
