The Chief Edozie Njoku led faction of All Progressive Grand Alliance today conducted its own gubernatorial primary election for elect a candidate for the November 6th gubernatorial elections in Anambra despite a court order stopping the national executive of this faction from parading itself as the National Working Committee of the party, This event took place at Finotel Hotel Agu Awka.
The Anambra State High Court, Awka Judicial Division presided over by His Lordship, Hon Justice C C Okaa has asked all the parties to maintain status quo in the suit instituted by Barr Sly Ezeokenwa and APGA against Edozie Njoku
The court noted that there is need to preserve the “Rex” subject matter of the suit and as such ordered that all the parties continue to comply with the Order of Interim Injunction which the court made against the defendants in the suit on the 21st day of June, 2021.
