Yesterday in Awka at the women development centre The Governor of Anambra disbursed funds to the mission hospitals #288,500,000 this will in serve aid in improving the 69 mission hospitals in Anambra.
The above funds where shared amongst the 3 christian denominations in Anambra with the Roman Catholic church which has 42 hospitals getting #197,750,000, The Anglican Communion getting #60,750,000.00 for the 26 hospitals owned by the denomination, The pentecostal fellowship which has one recognized hospital got #30,000,000.
This is squeal to the 2017 disbursement of N258.5m to the faith based hospital by the Government which according to the Governor of the state is in the bid to improve the Primary Health Care delivery in the state
