The nations electoral umpire The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has said that there are no factions on the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) which means that it recognizes the primary election that produced the former central bank governor Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo as the party’s flag bearer for the November 6th governorship election in Anambra.
The commission has also dismissed reports that it disqualified the party from contesting in the Anambra Gubernatorial Election which will take place on the 6th of November 2021.
The Chief Press Secretary to the INEC chairman Mr Rotimi Oyekanmi who spoke in a telephone conversation stated that as far as the commission is concerned there are no factions in APGA, They only recognize only one national chairman and secretary whose details are on INEC’s website, he also went further to say that the commission did not in anyway say that APGA will not participate in the forth coming Gubernatorial Election in Anambra State.
