The Anambra State Internal Revenue Chairman, Dr. David Nzekwu is facing backlash on social media after a worker accused him of owing them salary, embezzlement of public funds and illegal taxes going on in the agency.
According to the worker Raymond Okoye by his facebook name, says that Mr. David Nzekwu is not only wicked but heartless also using the same medium to call on EFCC, Anambra State house of Assembly to investigate the activities of Anambra State internal revenue service for the past three years
Mr Okoye wrote on Facebook;
MR.DAVID NZEKWU IS NOT ONLY WICKED BUT HEARTLESS We want to use this medium to call on EFCC, Anambra State house of Assembly to investigate in the activities of Anambra State internal revenue service in past three years.Mr. David Nzekwu has cornered the salaries of some CRO who have nobody in government for months now. We plead with the relevant authorities to invite MR. DAVID NZEKWU for questioning before it’s too late. He will soon leave office, EFCC should do their job immediately.We are aware of embezzlement of public fund, illegal taxes going on in the agency. If you know this man tell him to pay my salaries, before leaving office. Because I don’t have anybody in government he decided to do away with my sweat. God is watching him if he do away with salaries, hewill never go free. karma is real and will deal with him, I just want the general public to be aware.
I have been begging for my salaries for over a year now. Let God who sees in the secret judge this case.
This is a public outcry as the workers involved do not have anyone to fight for them and are calling on the relevant authorities to take action about this.
