At about 5 pm today unknown gunmen stroke in Oko Orumba South Local Government Area where they accosted a branded Toyota Sienna belonging to the Gubernatorial Candidate of the Labour Bar. Obiorah Agbasimelo, Dragged down the vehicle driver shot him on the leg and set the vehicle ablaze.
The Vehicle Driver who we later found out to be Mr Valentine of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of Federal Polytechnic Oko was very lucky to have escaped with his life as he was told by the men that this is coming as a warning that there will be no election in Anambra State.
As at the time of filing in this report the victim is receiving medical attention at a yet to be revealed hospital.
