Traditional Ruler of Nteje Joins His Ancestors

Report Reaching us has it that the Traditional Ruler of Nteje in Oyi Local Government Area of Anambra State Igwe Rowland Odegbo Aborgu 2 has joined his ancestors.

He was issued the certificate of a traditional Ruler of the community on the 10th of January 2011 by the then Governor of Anambra State Mr Peter Obi after a prolonged tussle as to whom occupies the traditional stool of Nteje Aborgu Ancient Kingdom.

One of his notable final outings was being part of the reconciliation committee of the aggrieved members of the ruling political party in the state the All Progressive Grand Alliance APGA as he was a politician prior to him ascending the throne as a Traditional Ruler.
