The Governor of Anambra State Prof. Charles Soludo yesterday during the Civil Service Day Celebration in the state which held and the State Secretariat Complex Awka announced that starting from January 2023 the salary of civil servants will be increased by 10% across board.
While addressing the crowd he said the owing from the economic challenges in the country something had to be done by the government to augment what the workers were taking home, this was met with huge jubilation as he had already announced that each worker will get a Christmas Bonus of #15,000 .
The Head of Civil Service Mrs Igwegbe in the state in her speech appreciated the Governor for this gesture and promised that the workers will always deliver on their various duties
