Owing to the present Security situation of the country and rise in crime the Nnewi Vigilante Services have been Upgraded to meet the current challenges.
This upgrading was made possible through the intervention of well meaning indigenes of Nnewi who donated generously to this wonderful course and this came in form cash and valuable Security equipment.
While speaking during the ceremony to commemorate this upgrade, the traditional ruler of the town His Royal Highness Igwe Kenneth Onyeneke Orizu said that this upgrade was very necessary so that inhabitants of Nnewi can sleep with their two eyes closed and be rest assured that they are safe
