The wife of the former Governor of Anambra State Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano has won the keenly contested Primary Election for Anambra North Senatorial Zone of All Progressive Grand Alliance APGA.
She was up against the chief of staff to her husband while in Government Chief Primus Odili, in the eyes of the public this was seen as a betrayal by the Former Chief of staff to his boss the former Governor as it is said that he is supposed to be loyal to him and drop his ambition and not contesting against the wife of the former Governor.
Mrs Obiano pulled 152 votes to defeat the former Chief of Staff Chief Primus Odili who got 120 votes.
