Man Builds Food Market Stalls in Unizik Temporary Site At Almost Zero Cost

At the wake of the Government of Anambra State issuing an ultimatum that road side traders on axis of Oby Okoli Avenue by Saint Joseph The Worker Road Unizik Temp Site Awka to leave the area as a result of obstruction of free flow of traffic in that area, a kind hearted Anambra has come to the rescue of the traders.

This individual has taken it upon himself to build a market for this traders at a very subsidized rate with is own land which is sited directly opposite the junction of Saint Joseph The Worker Road by Oby Okoli Avenue, which used to be the bus stand of Nnamdi Azikiwe University.

 

Our Reporters who met with the individual behind this gesture by name Mr Vincent Amaechi Madubuike who is popularly referred to as ” Onwa na Nando” , he said that he decided to do this because of the vacccum the government created without filling it up, the government has asked these petty traders to leave a particular location without providing an a suitable alternative for them, this is where they make their daily income from, he said that to further avoid the dragging of space in the land he provided he decided to do the partitioning of the space by himself and that is the only thing the traders are paying for.

The traders are expected to move into the stalls as soon as the partitioning is done in the next few weeks.
