News reaching has it that a hostel block at Bishop Crowther Seminary Awka was gutted by fire incident on Saturday 18th of May 2024.
A distress call came from the school at about 11:30pm on Saturday night about fire outbreak in the hostel block of the school.
Men of the Anambra State Fire Service were deployed immediately to the scene of the incident and the fire was contained.
The Anambra State Fire Service Chief, Engr Chukwudi Emmanuel Chiketa today arrived Bishop Crowther Memorial Seminary School, Awka for a firsthand inspection and assessment of the level of damages caused by the fire outbreak that occurred last night in the school.
