EEDC Announces Power Outage In Some Parts of Anambra

PLANNED OUTAGE IN PARTS OF ANAMBRA STATE

The Enugu Electricity Distribution Company PLC (EEDC), wishes to inform her esteemed customers in Awka and Ekwulobia Districts in Anambra State of a planned outage on NIBO station, belonging to the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN).

The outage scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, 7th August 2021, from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, is to enable the TCN maintenance crew to change the TR1 33KV underground cable to overhead conductors.

This will affect power supply to Udoka, Awka Main, Nibo, and Enugu Agidi 11KV feeders in Awka District, and Agulu and Neni 33KV feeders of Ekwulobia District.

Consequently, Umudiana, Okperi, Igweogige, Isiagu, Obunagu, Agulu, Omuko, Umueri, Umuogbu, Umuebele, Umuanaga, Umuike, Umujagwo, Umuenechi, Umuoruka, Umuogwali, Umuogbunu 1, Umuogbunu 2, Umudioka, Umukwa, Ngozika Estate, Rockland Estate, Amawabia, Enugu Agidi Village, some parts of Okpuno, Enugu Onitsha Express Road up to UNIZIK Junction, Nibo Community, Umuawulu, Mbaukwu, Isiagu, Nise, Awgbu, Aguluizuigbo, Nanka, Umuchu, Achina, Uga, Obodoukwu, Isuofia, Mkpologwu, Adazinuku, Adaziani, Oraukwu, Nnokwa, Alor, Adazienu, Obelebu, Akwaeze, Igboukwu, Oraezi, Akpamkpisi, Agbadani, Eke Market, Jiodo, Igwe Nri, Nri Boys, Aguluezechukwu Town, Ula, Umuchiana, some parts of Ekwulobia, Ihuokpala, Nkolo, some parts of Oko Road, Agba, Ekuwlobia Road, Eke Ekwulobia, some parts of Stadium Road, Ekekanaya, Ortom Place Hotel, Bank Road, and NAFDAC will be out of supply.

We sincerely regret the inconveniences this will cause our esteemed customers and assure them that supply will be restored as soon as the TCN team completes the maintenance.
