The Awka Stadium is set to be the new how of Enugu Rangers Football Club according to reports reaching us.
This development is subject to the approval of the League Management company of Nigeria who are set to inspect the stadium on Tuesday 15th of March 2022.
This approval will have been gotten some time ago but failed due to the absence of an inner perimeter fencing in the stadium which has been done now.
Enugu Rangers who currently play their home games at the FC Ifeanyi Ubah Stadium now wish to relocate to the Awka Stadium due to the regrassing and drainage construction currently ongoing at their home stadium, The Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium Enugu.
