Awka Millennium City Developers Adopts 2 Schools in Awka

MP Infrastructure the developers of Awka Millennium City led by Chief Clem Nwogbo who is an illustrious son of Awka has adopted 2 Schools in Amaenyi Area of Awka.

The group adopted Capital City Secondary School and Amaenyi Community Primary School, the group has gone ahead to equip the school with the necessary infrastructure and learning material need to make the place a conducive learning environment.

The Governor of Anambra State Prof. Charles Soludo yesterday performed the commissioning ceremony of the new renovated and equipped classroom blocks, while performing the ceremony he stated that this is a very laudable gesture, he likened this gesture to the road construction that was undertaken by Late Chief Anthony Eunkeme of Tonimas Group in Neni and Chief Chibuzor Madubuko of De Chico Group in Adazi Ani, spanning 18 and 12km respectively, he also urged well meaning Ndi Anambra with means to emulate this gesture and replicate it in their various communities.

Chief Clem Nwogbo while reacting said that to him, it is merely a cooperate social responsibility and his think home mentality that is the driving force behind this gesture and that he is willing to do more as God keeps blessing him.

The State Commissioner for Education Prof. Ngozi Chuma-Udeh while speaking said that this is a huge legacy that Chief Nwogbo is laying.

Also present at the event were the Obi of Onitsha Igwe Alfred Emeka Achebe, Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly Rt. Hon Uche Okafor and Members of the State Executive Council.
