Governor of Anambra State Prof. Charles Soludo has resumed duties in the Urban Slum of Onitsha Metropolis known as Okpoko as he promised.
He was met by a huge population of hopefuls who reside or do business in that area of onitsha metropolis.
He addressed the people where he pointed what he will do in cleaning up the area and returning it to what it was planned to be.
This area of onitsha metropolis is one of the dirtiest urban slums in the country but was planned to be an industrial and commercial layout of onitsha metropolis.
The Governor also emphasized on the executive order he signed yesterday on assumption of seat stopping the collection of revenue in the state and which includes getting rid of the Touts (Agbero) who masquerade themselves as revenue agents of the state and harass People.
The people hope to start seeing real work in Okpoko after the visit.
