APGA Conducts House of Assembly Primary Elections As Winners Fail to Emerge in 7 Constituencies

The All Progressive Grand Alliance APGA today 24th of May 2022 conduct primary elections for candidates to emerge for the State Assembly Election come 2023 general elections.

This election was conducted across the 30 constituencies and winners failed to emerge in 7 because of varying level of irregularities, one of which we got information was a case of an aspirant snatching materials to go write result in his favour.

The Constituencies which did not return winners are as follows;

Aguata 2, Anaocha 2, Idemili North, Ihiala 1, Ogbaru 1, Onitsha South 1 and 2

Winners who emerged are as follows;

3. Anambra East – Obi Nweke

4. Anambra West – Patrick Udeoba

5. Awka North – Chimezie Ikwunne

6. Awka South 1 – Samuel Igwedimma Nwofor

7. Awka South 2 – Chuma Okoye

8. Ayamelum – Uche Victor Okafor

9. Dunukofia – Chuks Azotani

10. Ekwusigo – Ikenna Ofodeme

11. Idemili South – Chukwuebuka Igwe

12. Ihiala 2 – Chukwuebuka Golden Iloh

13. Njikoka 1- Ibemeka Chidiebere

14. Njikoka 2 – Jude Akpua

15. Nnewi North – Peter Nwosu

16. Nnewi South 1 – Sonny Ozobialu

17. Nnewi South 2 – Chieloka Henry Okoye

18. Ogbaru 2 – Uzonwanne Emmanuel Chinna

19. Onitsha North 1 – Nwaeze Tony Nwora

20. Onitsha North 2 – Harold Ekwerekwu

The Party will fix a new date to conduct primary election for the Constituencies which did not produce a candidate.
