The Governor of Anambra State has started making moves to join the oil producing states of the federation.
This was major paid of the meeting that the Governor of the state held with the minister for state for petroleum ,Chief Timipre Sliva in his office in Abuja.
According to the Governor he said that it was long overdue that the Federal Government start tapping into the huge petroleum deposits that the state is endowed with and the state to start getting paid proceeds form the sale of this natural resources.
He went further to say that this will bring development to the areas of the state where they are located and ultimately boost the economy of the state.
