The Secretary to the State Government of Anambra State Prof. Osita Solo Chukwulobelu has given the hint as to when commercial flight activities will begin at the Anambra State Passenger And Cargo Airport Umueri will begin.
He said this while speaking on behalf of the State Governor at the prayer session organized by the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria PFN which held yesterday at the Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka, He said that the Airport is undergoing finishing touches and in the next two months when the President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria will be visiting Anambra he will fly to Anambra direct and not to Enugu or Asaba and start coming to Anambra by road.
The above statement shows that most likely by November this year Commercial Flights will start landing and taking off from the Anambra Airport
